  • Just over a quarter of residents expect to spend more on local independent retail in W3, this is similar to W1 and W2
  • A larger proportion of residents say they expect to spend less in W3 compared to W2; this is at a similar level to W1
  • Older residents are more likely to increase their spending than younger residents, and the majority (57%) of those from ethnic minority groups expect to spend less on local independent retail in the next 12 months
